Southeastern Illinois College is proud to announce the signing of Madison (Maddy) Ritter of Kemmerer, Wyoming, to the SIC Falcon Archery Team. Ritter made her commitment official at the prestigious Vegas Shoot, one of the most renowned archery events in the world.
Maddy, a senior at Kemmerer Jr./Sr. High School, has been shooting archery for about five years and has already made a name for herself on the international stage. In 2024, she was a member of the USA World 3D Archery Team and proudly represented the United States in Slovenia.
Beyond her impressive archery career, Maddy has been actively involved in student leadership as a member of the student council. She plans to earn her Associate’s degree at SIC and pursue a major in marketing. After college, she intends to return to Wyoming to work while continuing to compete in archery at a high level.
“I am very excited to welcome Maddy to the Falcon Archery Team,” said SIC Head Coach Ricky Sauls. “Maddy is a very accomplished archer and knows how to compete. She is going to play an important role both individually and during team competition. But the best part of having Maddy join the team is that she is a good student and a great person.”
